Default Air Injection

I am just wondering, i am looking for headers and for the 99-04 models there are two options... w/air injection w/o air injection. How would i know what i have?

Check your headers. The passenger side one is easiest. Look for a small tube going out the side of them. That's what is known as the "air injection" You should have it. They offer it without if someone wants to delte it. It's just an emmissions control one of many on our cars

they are talking about the egr. if i was you would get it without it its a pain to get it to seal. and its easy to make a block off plate and close up the egr.

my BBK one didint like up for anything in the world and the tube is metal. it took over an hour to get that biitch pryd and i gave up and got the torch to warm it up when i did headers. not fun at all...

To be honest, headers are not worth the trouble on a V6...unless you have some crazy big mods planned, headers should be LAST on your list. (Stock will flow VERY well)

They sure give you a nice sound. Although a new cam would do the same.

I took my egr off when i got my headers done. Now i have a SES light. ...other than that it drives normal. I'd toss the egr

No, I wish i had the money for a tune, so i wouldn't have a damn SES light.
