Default Next Engine Mod?

I have an 01 v6 with flowmaster true duals. I jsut got a K&N intake. Any advice on what to do next. Gears? Money is limited, so probably no superchargers or anything as of now.

A programmer or a chip would work great since you have an automatic. Lets you set shift points and firm up the shifts too. Also it gives power by sharpening up the fuel trims and advancing the timing. Gears would also be at the top of the list

Default $$

Well, I have around $2000, but i was thinking about buying some 18x9 Saleen's in the near future. Still considering whether to get the wheels now or wait. I am also considering some 3.73 gears. Any opinions on those v. pullies or chip?

I'd go with gears first. You'll notice a big 'throw-you-back' difference (max 600 bucks including install from where I have priced). Then a chip/tune (max of 400 bux plus 25 fee per/tune usually). I don't really have much experience with the pulleys, so I dunno how much they affect what you feel. I myself am interested in pulleys but have a sound system and like my a/c. dunno how much that affects stuff.

if you do get pulleys i hear it's best NOT to get the piggy-back kind.

I would do gears and a tune as with gears you will need a tune ot correct your speedo so youw ill be set. also you might want ot find a posi from a ranger as the v6 doesnt have posi.
