I know that on the 99-04 body styles the air filter goes into the fender. I was wondering if its the same way for the 98 body styles because I'm probably going to order one off ebay tonight. Also how dry is it in there? Because sucking up water=bad. Thanks for any help.

 

Yes, the 98 also has an airbox that goes into the fender.

As far as water goes, so long as your not mudboggin like danny b youll be fine.
