Default Vibrates while Idleing

Once i turn on my car and sit their for about 10-20 seconds while my car idles it starts to shake. Is this normal for a V6?? My dads 73 with a 351 shakes, but a V6???

Nope. Sounds like it is idling either to low or you have a missfire from a problem with a plug or a coil pack.

my other car is a 95 v6 and it has a quiver in it as well...always has. About 30000 miles ago, the engine was rebuilt after a blown head gasket. The quiver is still there. I don't know the extent to which yours shakes, but giving my input that mine shakes a little too. I realize that cars can sometimes quiver a little through the natural motion of the engine, but mine seems to be a little more than usual although not too bad that I worry. Other than the blown head gasket (which they are known for so be aware), the car has given no problems whatsoever. If you have tried new plugs and wires, maybe try some injector/fuel system cleaner to see if that helps. If it is really bad, maybe have someone check it out to be sure.

I had a 99 v6 with about 35000 miles on it....every time I would stop at a red light it would shake...very annoying. I tried the mid-level gasoline and that seemed to help. I have no idea why, as both v6 and v8 mustangs are built for regular.
