In the first pic, it looks like the calipers are yellow. Looks good, paint the calipers yellow = easy cheap mod. Car looks amazing (for yellow) Not gonna bash yellow, not gonna bash yellow, no gonna....

But seriously, sweet ride.

Thanks! I had thought about painting them but I can't find the time. It's been three weeks since I last cleaned it! That's a record for me.

Stupid question, but do you have to remove the calipers to paint 'em or can you do it with them installed?

I guess since you mentioned it, I shouldn't really complain about a few clouds coming in. Detailing the car was more of a way to keep my mind off of family and friends in Alabama and Louisiana for a few hours.

The taillights look a little trans-ammy, but they still look pretty good. Nice ride, man.

Looks great man. Such a bright color. I know what you mean about the storms though, as soon as I pull out a bucket, make the soapy water, and get the sponge on the car, clouds roll in.

i used caliper paint called duplicolor from Checker auto, they also have this stuff at walmart too, havent seen yellow, just red(which is what i did) and blue.

He is right about how it look though, excellent vis mod for 15 bucks, cant beat it.

all you really gotta do is jack yer car and pull off the wheel to do it.
Just got back from Pepboys...they have red, silver, blue and black...NO yellow. I'm thinking either silver or black...I'll check out some other places tomorrow and if I can't come up with any yellow, I might spend some time turning 'em gloss black.

Yeah, it waited until JUST after I finished to cloud up and it rained all over it just a few minutes ago!

I got 'em a Autozone (I think)...I took 'em off for a while since I would forget to pull them off before going on base to work and got hassled every morning...

Next two planned mods are 4.10's and a set of lowering springs! I AM kinda getting tired of the 4X4 look

Thanks for the compliments Venom ,MattJ and SilverSteed!!! BTW Venom, how do you like that MGW shift ****? $60 is a bit pricey for a ****, but I got to admit, I really like 'em!
Whew!

Very clean indeed. You should rename your pic file (spotless). And I too will paint my calipers. I really need to wax my baby. Been too hot here. But the wether is getting tolerable. Maybe I will lay some meguiars gold class this weekend. Woot, I have 2 days off. But I also have to mow, cookout, and some much needed husbandly duties to fulfill. I'll make some time though. My stang needs a real good bath.

Order the G2 caliper paint kit from www.stylinconcepts.com. It is a bit more pricey at 40 bucks but much better quality. They have yellow

Tint is 30% for the front two windows and 5% for the rears...
