OK so I just got my car about a month ago and it drove fine, RPMs got up a lil high on it with out hardly accelerating. So about a week ago the check engine light came on, and we hadnt flushed any fluids or anything so we took it in and had them flushed and had the guy do a diagnostics check on the engine and found out that the Cams were messed up so he cleared the code and the car drove fine, no more high RPM. But then a couple days ago the Check Engine light came back on??? Does anybody have any ideas why it could have come back on???? The car has 117,000 miles on it, but the engine was rebuilt at 80,000.

I think awhile back someone had a similar problem and they thought it might have been their carb. That happened to me sort of about 6 months after I got my car. In fact my car stalled out while i was doing 70 I got no idea how the hell that happened (i'm not that bad a driver either!), but anyways we took it to the dealer and they cleaned some stuff out and it's been workin great ever since, so far 2 1/2 years without that same problem...like when I turned the car on it would sit at 1300 -1500 RPMs for a bit before slowly sliding down to 500 rpm, and then back up to 900 without me touching the throttle...
