Default A/C vent problem

Hi. Have 2010 stock convertible. A/C system blows cold on passenger vents and warm to hot from drivers side. Could it be a broken vent under dash? If so, how to get dash off?
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! I am at the point of just digging in to take dash apart...
Thanks

A lot of new cars have individually adjustable temp. controls from right to left. It sounds to me like the left side vent has a vacuum hose that broke or fell off.

Thanks for the suggestion. My car does not have separate temp controls.

That does not sound right. If you don't have left and right temp. controls, then you should get the same temp on both sides, meaning that a failure would result in heat on both sides. To get heat on one side and ac on the other would require separate controls left and right. I'm new here, but this v6 board does not seem to get a lot of traffic. You might get an answer faster on the general tech board. I think both v6 and v8 cars probably have the same heater/ac controls.
