I have a V6 1994 Mustang and its gay...how can i make it better ? Starting with acceleration though cause that matters the most to me.

 

Auto or Manual? Gearing is the #1 accelleration inprovment. Check out the pricing of a Ford Racing Traction Lok with 3.73 (manual) or 4:10 (auto) Ring and pinion gears. After that, well start with the intake and work towards exhaust.

Ohh since yours is a '94, has it been in for the recall on the head gasket?

 

best thing you can do is a split port swap on that thing. you change the heads and intake up to the 99+ stuff whihc adds a assload more power over the single port setup.

 

Its auto....since u bring that up saying its important....When i switch gears it takes awhile for it to kick into drive or anyway at that point....I actualy had this happen to me once. I was drive and i came up to a stop sign going onto the highway and i stoped and i press the gas not hard just normal and it acted like it had switched out of drive and was in neutral but i didnt do it, it sat there with the engine reving like in neutral then just switchd and let me go on....but i was already in drive I think that might be a problem haha....since its basicly the same subject on acceleration how do i make it switch gears faster? (its auto)

 

hey spike can i just grab those off any 99+ v6 and do you think it would effect anthing if i do get a turbo.
