I heard that if you put 3.8 heads on a 4.0 block it gives you more hp is this true?

One of my friends did. lol. Hes always talking about doing it to his car, and I just wanted to know if he was full of **** or not.

 

he needs to do his research. Cause as far as I know. a 4.0 has a OHC. And a 3.8 is pushrod. So its not possible. Just based on that aspect alone.

I've heard you can put 305 heads on a 350 to increase compression ratio. And increase the N/A hp..
But hes comparing two completely different engines. So yeah. He got owned.
