Default V-6 Dual Exhaust adapter?

I saw this dual exhaust adapter kit on American Muscle and I was wondering if it was worth it. Does it still work the same as an h-pipe or would getting an h-pipe be better? I was planning on getting a whole new dual exhaust setup for my six. The only bad thing that I saw was that the only headers that it allowed on there was shorty headers. I was wanting to get longtube headers instead. Can anyone help me clear things up for so that I can decide what to do?

That basically is a H pipe..

And I think long tubes require a shorter mid pipe.

If you're gonna get long-tubes in the future, don't buy it. You'll need a shorty h.

Mac makes longtube headers and longtube mid pipes, both x and H
