I have been looking to get a gt but dont want to spend a lot of money on one so i have been looking on craigslist for one.My grandpa got a hold of all the parts for the front end of an 06 gt and what do you know i found a wrecked 06 gt online.The guy only wanted 3,500 for the car and it only had 20k miles,it had an intake,headers,throttle body,custom exhaust and the engine was perfect still.my grandpa looked at it and said it would take him 3 days to fix so we went to the bank to get the money and when we came back it was gone,the guy said someone had 4000 cash and paid him and took it right when we left. That was probably one of the worst days in my life,im still not over it ,this f ing sucks man

yea i was pissed off,it was a killer deal that i dont think i will find again,the car was even the color i wanted inside and out.all i can do is move on.
I have a v6 and want a stronger car,does anyone know how much it would cost to swap a gt motor into my 01 v6?

 

would make more sense to sell the 6 and buy a GT

Yea, your best bet unless you have allot of time and know how is to sell the sixxer and buy a GT unless you have some special connection with the car.

 

It sucks, but **** happens. I don't blame the guy for selling the car. Not like he had a written lawful agreement with you or anything. You have to think about it from his point of view. Why would he hold onto a car for someone who is giving him $3,500 when he could sell it to someone who will give him $4,000? I would have done the same thing, but I would have at least called the other person who was going to buy the car and let them know I had already sold it to someone else.

honestly though, if this is one of the worst things that have happened to you...... you got a pretty good life!
