i have a 2004 3.9l automatic that ive been trying to supe up a little... im installing my SCT Chip with tunes, but i dont know what to do next. i was thinking a throttle body but i only have a CAI and dual exhaust so far, would that be beneficial? OR should i get gears and traction-lok... i found 4.10 gears i could use but what type of t-lok should i be looking at?...should i get TB or gears/t-lok 1st?

 

definitely gears and tlok, tb you really dont need to be honest. and 4.10 is the way to go

 

Gears/t-lock for sure. Throttle body wont do anything at all for your car. Ive heard the difference between stock and 4.10 gears is night and day and unbelievable. Also general reference is 4.10 for autos 3.73 for manual.

 

Unless your running boost there is no point in getting that bigger TB. Get gears and a Tlok. You need the T-lok for a Ford 7.5" rear end with 28spline axles.

You won't notice any difference with a new TB, gears are the way to go.
