I'd much rather go with a vortech. Amazing power can be had with it but the warranty is what I really like.

Two year warranty from vortech if anything happens to it.

I have had a vortech for the past three years. No complaints yet.

A video will make anything look good. Theres a reason why Justin put a vortech on his wifes car and not a procharger..and why the vortech is going into the 10s and i've yet to hear anything about a procharger doing the same..

Vortechs are pretty ridiculously awesome. Procharger is sort of the basic "get some boost" supercharger...

Procharger is hands down better if you ask me. Intercooler with every kit and makes power. For example there is no bolt on Vortec kit that will push 400rwhp on a 2v. You can bolt on a P1sc with the 3 core and with just a mid pipe and a dyno tune push right at 400rwhp. Vortec kits without other bullshit added can't touch that. I'm not gonna lie I am a little biased, but that's just my 2 cents on it.

+1. And no tapping the oil pan. Prochargers are self contained and use their own oil.
But as you can see I might be biased as well.

Oopps. It looks like Voretch does make a self contained unit. V-3. But not for the V6.

+1 again. Vortech always seemed like the cheap mans Procharger.

But yet, if you want more power it's much harder to get than it is with the Procharger. I've seen plenty of Prochargers in the 10s, and actually I knew the guy who held the fastest Fox-Body on street tires record with a F1 procharger.

Hmmm...too bad Vortech has nothing to compare to that.

I would in know way call Vortech a cheap mans Procharger.

You can get a Vortech kit for cheaper though. Tapping the pan is more nerve racking then anything before you actually do it. It's not that hard. I considered a Procharger, but couldn't find one for cheap enough. Plus I've read that the self contained units are not as good. The right Vortech can make plenty of power. Maybe I'm a little biased, but both superchargers are great. Look at what power level you want and how much you want to spend. When all was said and done, for my whole kit pieced together plus dyno tune, I spent about $2000. Now if I would've researched a tad more, I would've went with a smaller pulley to make the power I should be at.

How about this bad boy.

Vortech can't produce a kit that can get a stock 2v to 400 RWHP? Funny, I currently know of two locally that do it pretty easily and are in the 11s. Stock motors.

Prochargers take more power to make power, the vortech actually requires less power to run it. You have to make more boost on the procharger then you would with the vortech.

Issues with belt slippage are pretty well known on prochargers as well.

Oh, and Vortech carries the YSI which is comparable to the F1.. unless its the F1R thats 7 second capable. After that much cash though, I'd rather be putting a turbo on it..
