what do you think? it'll fit in my car? what is all needed? mustang GT plenum, GT motor mounts, GT wiring + computer, GT dash cluster, 8.8 rear? What about my stock 98 auto transmission? Also will fit?


my car is a 1998 3.8 v6 with auto tranny. selling my v6 car to get a v8 is not an option!

yeah I know the 3.8 forum. but I'm looking for information if the Crown Vic engine will work. I can get all the Crown parts but what can I use for the Mustang?

 

You will want to swap the intake manifold over for a mustang GT one with the mustang plenum and TB. Otherwise that motor is the same as in any 2v car. Just need to know what year it is.

EDIT: its a 00 motor so it is not a PI headed motor. The Vics didn't get PI heads till either 01 or 02 I can't remember. So skip this motor its not worth it for the shitty performance. Unless you will swap heads to PI heads and intake.

 

I'm in Germany so its kinda hard to find anything like this. Yeah I'm also looking for the PI swap later

 

use a Audi engine lol im sure there a lot of those laying around in Germany... lol no don't do that... by the way your car is beautiful
