Default TCS and Overdrive

Hey, I have an 2006 automatic v6 mustang and I had some questions. Should i drive with TCS off during nice sunny days, and when should i turn on/off the overdrive? shall i turn off the overdrive when driving through the city and turn it on during constant speeds/ highway? thanks

You don't need to turn off o/d ever unless your towing (which I would hope you never do) or if your drag racing so it doesn't go into 5th at WOT. As for traction control you can turn it on or off as you please. If you want to do a burnout, turn it off. If you want to spin the tires in the rain, turn it off. Otherwise you can pretty much leave it on or off doesn't matter. A lot of people get it turned off in their tunes so it never comes on. I have actually used it a few times to get me unstuck when parked in steep grass or muddy fields. Plus its nice to have when driving in the rain with drag radials on.

Theres really no reason to turn off overdrive, its basically a more fuel efficient 5th gear, the only reason to turn it off would be if your towing something. As for Traction, again theres no reason to turn it off unless, your stuck in the mud or snow or something like that... or it you wanna do a sick 1 wheel burnout

his mustang is an 06, so his over drive is 5th gear.
