Default Upgrades and a Tuner

ok, so since ive started the repairs on my sixer, ive decided i'm going to upgrade somethings while im at it. but i have some questions on stuff i havent found much info on. the first couple upgrades on my list are a t-lok, 3.73 gears, 18x9 rims, and an SCT tuner. ive been a little confused on this, but i can use the same tuner i'll buy to correct my speedometer for the change in gears and rim/tire size, correct?

Yes a custom tuner will let you recalibrate for the gears and or wheels size changes

quick question, i want to get gears and a tlok but i dont have enough money to purchase a tuner after that for awhile, is the speedometer the only problem just not knowing how fast ur going, or is it more in depth and can cause other more serious problems?

The only thing that will happen is you'll have no clue how fast you're going unless you want to sit down and map out by doing math equations how fast you'll be when your speedo reads 40, 50, 60, etc.

yeah, don't do one without the other. if i were you, just be paitent and save money. buy it in stages, like one piece at a time, or wait for a sale.

i did the gear, t-lok w/ 18" wheels.
a buddy of mine was riding next to me and was about 9/10 mph off.
was riding like that for about a month, then purchased the turner.
it all worked out well for me.
do it!

I have a 72 cutlass with 4.10's and an uncalibrated speedometer, you can just have someone drive next to you and find out the rpms of each speed, as long as you aren't on steep roads it works great.
