Default GT Style Grill with Fog lights - now I need replacement Fogs!!!

So pissed - I just installed this:

http://www.americanmuscle.com/gtstyl...le-0509v6.html

Due to my fault, I now need two new fog lights. I called AM and they said they don't sell replacements by themselves so I ended up buying another grill! However, I was just checking their website and they sell GT Fog Light OEM which to me look just like the ones in THIS grill. Is that correct? If so, I'll cancel/return the new grill and just get these:

Edit - looks like this product is from KSR so I'm going to try and contact them for replacement bulbs.

D: Bad luck, the replacements do look like they are out of stock and you cant be sure of how soon they will replace em, soo idk whatcha wanna do then. The replacements are 120 and the new grill is 220. If youre lucky AM will refund you on the old grill. Btw are you the guy with the post about havin trouble with it getting in?

not sure AM will refund me on the old grill if I caused the bulbs to get messed up Any suggestions on that? As for the replacement bulbs, I'm kind of mad at AM b/c they originally said the GT bulbs wouldn't fit but I think they are wrong. Looks like you agree with me that they would be fine replacements right?

I have another grill coming now - maybe I can make a deal with AM and take the bulbs out of that and send back everything else. Or I just return the grill for a refund (the new one). I read that I need to pay shipping on their end too which I think is unfair b/c I was told that this was my only option - although its not b/c i could get replacement bulbs.

and yes - I am the same guy. Made this process too hard. Thought the body wiring on my pony was what you plug into and that didn't fit the bulbs that it came with. Little did I realize that you can unhook the body wiring and expose the normal plug which fits like a glove with this grill.

Id hate to try to say take advantage of AM, but they might. AM is unbelievable for returns. As for the replacement lights i dont see why they wouldnt fit. What specifically did you do to the original lights? Also yeah i took a real close look at the lights on both the grill, and the replacements. They look like the exact same lights and can fit perfectly, however whoever you talked to may have said they dont sell replacements because these lights
http://www.americanmuscle.com/mustan...0509-pair.html <-- Are out of stock.

Well the casing of the lights are all messed up b/c the bulbs basically burned into them. Therefore I would be returning a broken product. However, I'm going to try and see if the new grill they are sending me, if I can just take the lights out and send back the grill as is since they are out of stock for replacements and most importantly, they told me they didn;t have replacements so I put the order in which wasn't correct. Hopefully we'll figure something out.

I think you need to be having this discussion with Am. I understand your frustration for the situation but you can't point the finger at Am if you damaged something during installation. Talk to AM and see if they would be willing to waive the shipping charges if you buy a new set of fogs but even then there is the chance they may not fit your aftermarket grille.

now this is strange - i was looking at the bulbs tonight and it looks like the black spiral brace (inside the bulb casing) were not straight so I touched them and they def weren't tight. This might have cause the bulb itself to point upwards and burn out the bulb casing. If that's the case, then this is a diff story. Either way, I'll call AM tomorrow to see whats up.

thanks guys.
