Default Stock Transmission

Just wanted to ask how much HP to the wheels or crank can my stock tranny handle?

oh and does anybody know what type of tranny i have

How many miles are on your tranny? Has it been serviced regularly?

i dont know how much miles it has but it got rebuilt like 6 years ago and just got it flushed out march 1st

I believe you have a AODE.. i may be wrong..could be a 4r70w ..

The 4R70W is a good transmission.. but if you're going to throw big power at it..have it rebuilt with some stronger internals ect.

This should be done for whatever transmission you have

i know T-5 is 350rwhp and 4r70w is up to 400rwhp.

aode should be atleast 300+rwhp.
