Platinum is good for long service change intervals if you don't use nitrous or some sort of boost. They are more money and not worth it at all. Plus the cheaper copper core plugs actully conduct electricity better to boot.

Platinum is only good if you never want to change you plugs. Coppers are better for everything but they need to be changed after about 15K miles IIRC.

i have a 2002 3.8. i put bosch platinum +2's in it and i think its actually ruined my gas mileage. IDK everyone i hear from puts motorcraft or autolites in v6's and claim its the best. i spent ALOT of money on my plugs and i dont think they're worth it. So. next change im gonna go with autolites or motorcrafts.
