Default Fast Maxima

So Yesterday i raced this maaxima it was an 07 i believe. They are pretty fast. I had them beat off the line but the started to catch up when i shifted into second. once i shifted into 3rd i started to pull away. Although the Maxima weighs about 200 more lbs. it has more HP and torque.......granted i was surprised it was that fast as i had not really looked and the specs for it till this morning. anyone else have any good stories from the weekend?

Sorry did not know it was a sin. Come on you can honestly tell me you never have? I was challenged and I did not back down. I don’t care that it was a Maxima. It was fun.

I can honestly say I've never raced a Maxima, especially when I had my Mustang, and if I had I would not tell anyone about it.. lol

wow! Well you have a right to your oppinion but i dont have a V8 i have a V6 so it was a good match. The new 09 Maximas have like 280 HP and 267 torque. The 07s had 255hp and 252 Torque. which is more than what i have!

Sorry dude, I'd never admit to racing a Maxima, or an Altima, Civic, Prius, Smart car, etc.. I mean, you have a Mustang. V6 or not, It's still a Mustang.

ahhh, Welcome to the dark domestic side.

Just bustin yer ***** about racing an Import, but I definitely wouldn't talk about it much because 1. Not many people here condone Street Racing at all and 2. No one really cares if you raced a Maxima, unless it's like an ls7 swapped monster or something ha!

Being Sarcastic, or serious?

If you're being serious, good job. Keep the racing where it should be.

being sarcastic. normally all i do is on the track but i had just picked up some food and was on my way home. bad i know but it was really hard to resist. I used to take my Saturn SC2 to the track. Now dont laugh at that. hahaha i know SC2 but it was a fun car. i ran high 16'2 to low 17's with it depending on my launch. My brother and I are actually rebuilding his SL2 and we are making it into a track car. not drag but road. it is all gutted right now!

Well, at the Moment I am Stangless with the exception of My fiance's '05 Sixxer.

I had a '98 Atlantic Blue 5-speed Sixxer. Was my first car, but had to sell it a little over a year ago due to $$ problems. Ugh. Never really did much for performance upgrades, I knew the limitations of the Single port Six cylendar and decided that it wasn't going to be worth the effort to really take any drastic measures.

Then drove this little bastard for about 6 months.. lol

And now, I've moved on the my R/T.

Still looking for another Mustang, just waiting for the right one to come along.
