Default Mach 1 Grille Delete problem

I love the look of it but Ive got one problem with it... I dont like the look of being able to see the radiator so well right behind it. Whats the best solution?

im pretty sure you can paint it. you'l probably want paint with a higher temperature tolerance.

I would never paint my radiator. especially black.... Black attracts heat and the Radiator is supposed to cool your engine. But thats just me....

Don't worry, you can't see it from the drivers seat.

I would rather look at a radiator than ugly plastic honeycomb

Uhh, how fast you are going should not have an affect on how clear the image is of the car in your rear view mirror...lol

If it's Stephen, he probably put his car under a truck and is seeing double because he's been drinking too much.

Ehhh nah. Not only have I looked at it and noticed it really well but just about everyone else who i have asked their opinions about the new grill and chin spoiler i put on have said, "well it looks great except the radiator". It pretty much sticks out unless its night time

Stephen needs to fill his mouth with concrete for all I care, JMO.

The car really doesn't look bad.

If you look *right into* the grille opening you will be able to see the radiator on every car you will ever look at. That includes yours when you had the honeycomb grille with the corralled pony.

Don't paint your radiator, you will regret it. not only does black heatsoak, but paint will decrease the surface area/mass ratio, which is how the radiator cools your fluid.

If you really want to drive yourself nuts, concentrate on how much radiator is peeking out through your bumper between the barred-up fog light openings.

Haha yes, Im very aware of that already and I plan on getting fog lights just to cover at least some of that up. Imma freeak.
I know I was able to see my radiator with the honeycomb grille, but then it wasnt so evident.. Now, it just sticks out because of the big opening. As Dave04mustang says, he hardly notices his and i dont think I should be able to notice mine as much

Eh, it's a piece of metal. You'll notice it more or less depending on lighting conditions due to the reflectivity. I don't really notice mine anymore unless I'm trying to. Notice also that your pic is much more "head-on" than Dave's is. Also, it will be more noticeable on darker cars.

1st off, it's not the radiator your seaing, it's the A/C condensor and for many-many years they came painted black from the factory, it's not done anymore to save money and a few oz's of weight

so go right ahead and paint it black, no problems in doing-so.....
