Default Pics of my car...finally

Haven't posted in a long while but I was finally able to take some poor quality pics of my car with my phone. I'm trying to go for like retro look if that is even possible with an '04. Need to lower it still though -_-

It is starting off well, now save up the money and get a shaker hood, even though i think with your model it is all show now doesnt do much of anything anyway but that will give you a good retro look. Keep it up.

I think they are worth it. I think it makes my car very unique I have yet to see another one with them where I live. And it makes sleeping in the back seat much more enjoyable I do have a problem with some of the adhesive because i didn't properly silicone the edges and water has gotten in resulting in me ripping one of the plates off but I'll be fixing that shortly. Otherwise i have had no problems or anything with them.

Yea probably going to do like 30% or so on all of them and probably like the top 4inches of my front windshield will be blacked out when I get a job and some more money. The guy at the tint shop said that tinting around the plates where my louvers attach shouldn't be a problem and that was the biggest reason why I hadn't done it.

I plan on doing it eventually but I'm really determined to get a functioning hood if not a ram shaker hood scoop which I think they have for a v6. http://www.americanmuscle.com/ramairshscsy.html doesn't say 04 but i think it will work someone correct me if I am wrong. But if not that I was going to get like a Cervini Stalker hood because those at least force the hot air out from the engine bay.

I'm gunna see what I can do about getting some better quality pictures up here once I wash my car again.

great job man! You should look into the taillight outlines like I had on my old V6. They were $15 of ebay and gave an awesome retro look.

I did some research on the shaker hood system for the 99-04 body style, and it looks like for the 03-04 V6 stangs you need to buy the shaker hood system plus a hood.

here is a website where you can find the shaker for the 03-04 stang

yeah you do, because the 03/04 V6's came with the 99/01 reverse scoop (cobra) hood.

Yea I figured as much... I'm hoping I can find a GT hood cheap somewhere like a salvage yard or something. Because I think shipping charges on ebay would be an arm and a leg but I haven't really checked yet so who knows?! the least i can do is find a GT hood and maybe cut a square hole in the hood under the scoop with a power saw or torch. I think a saw a subaru like that once. The guy just bashed a hole in the hood under his scoop.

That is what one of my friends did to his 05 V6 but i personally didnt like it. Thought it looked like ****. If you can make it look good then go for it but otherwise i would look at buying a different hood that has that built into it
