If you were to replace headers the only way to go is long tube headers. Shorty's are a waste since the stock ones already flow pretty well

take your 1000 bucks and put it in the bank till there's 2 more just like it, then buy a blower and call it a day. Bolt-on bits aint gunna do enough to justify their idiotically high cost until you have more beef to start with.

The 05+ stangs respond pretty well to CAI. Most come with a handheld tuner to get the most gains you want one that comes with a tune. The exhaust will basically just be for sound.

the v8 05+ respond really well to CAI's but I don't think you get much with a v6 car (could be wrong but pretty sure it's a tiny shitty gain). Typically a CAI is the single worst investment in making power. Some very specific models (05 GT, 03 cobra, Mach1, 00' R) get really significant gains from a CAI but that's due to them being assplugged from the factory.

If you just want more goose for passing and racing, then perhaps a 50-75hp dry shot of nitrous would be the best solution. You can pick up nitrous for under a grand installed and filled up, bolt-on bits just ain't worth a damn on a NA v6 car.

Even the v6 cars on 05+ get really nice gains with a good CAI and a tune. I would get a different intake setup. Justin from vmptuning.com has nice v6 CAI/tune combos and hes a damn good tuner to boot. As for te exhaust it depends what your really looking for sound or power. If you just want sound a nice muffler replacement deal which are also cheap would be the way to go.

Whatever setup he has for the v6 with a cai and tuner combo would be good. Justin the owner I know personally and is a great tuner and stand up guy about his products and tunes. You will get a nice gain with there tune/cai combo. As for resetting the computer I dont know why you need to do that, but just take the ground off the battery and turn the headlights on for 10 mins and the ecu will be cleared and reset.

Have any pics of your 2006 V6? That's what I have and I'm gradually doing things to it.

Nice. Kinda like when someone ran me off the road last month (hit & run). I just got her back and are back into the swing of adding things. Is yours the Tungsten Gray? If so, sweet. Mine is below. I have been debating the racer stripes on mine. I saw one near me and it looks badass. My fiance however thinks otherwise. Haha.. Do you have the rocker stripe?
