my 98 3.8L stang is making a rattling sound. at first it was one of the tailpipes hitting against metal until i got that fixed. the sound seems to be coming form the rear of the car and is loudest when braking or at idle. i hate this rattling and want it fixed ASAP!!!!!! if anybody has had this problem or could possibly know what it is tell me

 

dude idk my car did that for awhile and it stopped, like when i first started it after i put new exhaust a few months later, i sitll dont know it sounds like its behind me and does it first start, then after i never hear it unless my engine idles down low. so idk dude.

 

yea the sound goes and comes. sometimes i drive and all i hear is the roar of the exhaust. and sometimes the rattling
