rattling

Default rattling

I just put 2 12's subs in my trunk and i have an extremely annoying rattling even tho the subs are turned way down........normal im guessin..........i was wondering what sound dampening product ppl would reccomend i realy dont care about weight(all my friends drive rice.......weight will not b a problem racing...lol) i saw 1 company with very good write ups that had there product filled with lead.......if any1 has any advice on wat company 2 use...

dynamat is good but not the best, i used some stuff in my old car... cant remember what it was called though. but it worked really good. i'll try and find out again. dynamat is also a lot more expensive. where is the rattling coming from? if it's from the license plate then just get a small piece of dynamat and put it between the plate and the car. that will work fine. sometimes you can get rid of rattles by simply tightening things up. just find out where its coming from first.

its basically commin from all over the place in the trunk area a wierd rattle from inside the rear bumper sumwhere sounds like realy thing plastic shakin around almost like paper....lol.....which is wierd cause the subs and amp are not that powerful its only a 420 watt mtx thunder series wit 2 mtx 12's

Go and buy peel & seal from any hardware store. Its the exact same thing as dynamat, fatmat, second skin, or any of the others at 1/4th the price. It will be in the roofing section.
