when i bought my '96, it had "fog lights", which just look like the driving light kit you'd see at walmart. they aren't hooked up and don't work. i want to take them out and buy a fog light kit. supposedly my car was prewired from the factory, i don't know, my build date was 5/96. if it was prewired, the only wiring i see is all messed up. cut wires, and one of the connectors is melted or something. this is a project i really want to do myself, as i'm not too handy with working on cars, and i want to learn.

 

continued... cell phone character limit. anyway my question is can i just buy the 97-98 kit from vmptuning since it has the wiring harness? the problem is i have no idea how to remove the old bad wiring.
