Hi Iam wanting to know if anyone can help 2005 mustang v6 when i pull down shifter to go to drive or any gear the black plastic part and the red indicator dosent move broke off some how . The dealer said i have to buy a whole assembly. 250 dollars. or find a used one. it looks like i can glue in back into place? Any ideas please help.

i don't know much about the '05 shifter, but i doubt you have to replace the entire shifter assembly....
