Red face Sorry for not introducing myself.

Hi everyone!! As you might of guessed I'm new to this forum. So quick introduction of my path to my current day obsession. The Mustang!! It all began with my mothers maxima. My training wheels one might say. Then I got my permit and began working in UPS in 2003. My first goal was to get me a car! So for a good 2 years I had to car pool or bike to work. In 2005 I had enough to get me something nice. So I started with my father's 2004 Ford Explorer. Later my dad was looking to get rid of his car and get him a new one. So I proposed a deal he get the SUV back and I get the new car. Fine so what do you have in mind he asked? I told him why not the Fusion. So at the dealer we where getting ready to get the car. Then I saw all the cool stangs they had. So kidding around said how bout the Mustang!! He looks at me. Can you afford it. With insurance probably not. Takes a hard long look at me and tells me to get the guy!! THE CAR WAS MINE!!! I had saved up 6k to put as a down payment on a car my dad added another 4k into the mix. Very unexpected!! So now I have a very beautiful 2007 v6 PONY PACKAGE Mustang. And loving it!!!!

very cool.

i have a similar kinda story.

my dad purchased the 2000 v6 mustang after wanting one after he drove one on our vacation. i at the time had a job at target and loved the mustang so much. when i drove it, it felt like i was in a awsome car that everyone looked at. I saved up 3k and told him i wanted one and was saving my money. Well he was drunk one night and said how about i sell you my mustang for your 3k. I took it with a sour pill cause he was drunk, anyone would. well 2 days later he said "do we have a deal"? OMG yes.

the car had 28k miles and was in great condition. as you can tell by my sig i love my car still to this day. and wouldnt sell it for more than it is worth.

great story you have cuba. i hope you enjoy your car as much as i have mine. there isn't a day i don't drive it that i don't realize how lucky i was and am still.
