Default V6 X-Pipe?

I have the stock setup on my 07 V6. I really want to get an X-pipe, but I don't know what kind to get. I don't know a whole lot about how all this is actually done..but I'd like to get Borla Mufflers to put on. Opinions?

its retarted to add a x pipe to the v6 as its even firing. Either true dual or H pipe is your best bet. They sell tons of bolt on true dual setups for your car.

It really is a waste of money to buy a mid-pipe for a v6. It does nothing for the flow of exhaust.

I agree with these guys. An H pipe may make your car sound *a little* better, but your best bet is to run it straight all the way back from the headers. it's cheaper, and it's going to make your car sound about as good as a v6 is going to sound.

disagree.

the H-hipe will not only give the car a deep note, but in the 4.0's they will free up some power. when devoloping the 05 v6 4.0 they actually made it faster than they wanted. they were running with 99-04 gt's. they will not and would not ever do that to a previous year GT, they would have alot of pissed off people. So they took everthing back a notch on the car. hense there are alot of things that can easily free up HP.

but go with H-pipe not X-pipe, like was said previously it would sound like crap on an even fireing motor.

MAC has good products, my whole exhaust is MAC from headers back.

What about getting an H-pipe fabricated, and then getting two Borla Mufflers? Sound pretty good?

you can do it however you wish.

I went with MAC because i got their longtubes and then their shortened mid pipe to fit.
