Ive been hearing a lot of mixed reviews about the motive gears and was wondering if any one who has them can let me know how they are. I have the 3.73 and im just waiting to get them installed along with a posi.

i did the same setup as ur going to do. i got the motive 3.73's, a bearing kit, and the ford t-lok. the gears don't wine or anything, just make sure you trust the guy doing the install.

I use FRPP exclusively but motive are fine. Make sure the guy that sets them up isn't in a hurry.

I used FRPP, but as the other's said, the installer is probably the most important part. I've heard Motive was fine, Yukon (or whatever it is) is crap, and that FRPP is the best bet.

so its mostly about the experience of the installer, good. i definitly dont want the gears to whine, i knew a guy that had a set installed and i guess the the pinion wasnt set right cause the car whined horribly but he blamed the low quality of the gears (they were richmond so i guess that could be possible) either way it was really freakin annoying.
thanks for the input

An inexperienced or rushed installer can make the best gears whine. Just get a quality job, the motive gears are fine (as R3D said, I have no personal experience with them).
