Default Is this a good buy?

lame question but I was thinking of getting this CAI for my 04 v6. I was just wondering if there would be any problems with it because i dont think it matters if it's BBK or something else thats expensive and figure i can save myself $50 or so.

I personally think those kits are garbage. Looks nice but I like K&N, JLT, or stock with drop in K&N....

Aww it's times like these I wish I still had the article saved in my bookmarks.

Removing the silencer on our cars has shown to add to the temperature of the incoming air and actually decrease power. Granted we are talking about an N/A V6 here so the drop is a staggering 2-3 rwhp lol. But the fact remains the removal of the air silencer actually does more harm then good...

JLT doesn't make on for the sixer.
K&N is overpriced so is BBK,MAC etc. (I have a BBK CAI LOL)

Like I said above it's a CAI kit for a sixer...who cares it's not a big deal it's like $50 on ebay and they are all basicly the same besides the fact of how soon the chrome might chip off...

prolly even less.

Although let me say this, if you ever plan on going with forced induction, dont waste the money on a CAI

Very true.

In fact if you're a mustang owner be it a GT,Mach,Cobra, or V6 and want to have a fast car just go ahead stop ***** footing around and get a power adder. It's the best way to make big numbers without spending such big bucks...
