Flash Tuners

superchips are crap generic made for every mustang tunes, i wouldnt recomend them. The other two are both good and the real difference (minus some different tuning options each offers) is the tuner.
Either SCT or diablo would be good is what im saying basicly as its really the tuner that matters.

LoL yea, idk why he said that...there is an old SuperChips chip thats crappy, but everyone uses the SCT 2 or Livewire from them. I personally have the Livewire and Love it. There are alota cool features on it that are fun to mess around with. But if you want to keep it cheap and get that 20 hp + go with the SCT 2. If you look on the 3.8 boards there are alota guys that can help you with this further...I bought my Livewire from AM and it got here damn fast.

superchips is canned tunes and base model handhelds, SCT has the more sophisticated custom tune side. Think of sct as the badass side of superchips. I can't keep up with who owns whom anymore.
SCT kicks ***. I don't really like the Diablo stuff but it'll work just as well as SCT in the hands of a skilled tuner.
Mail order tunes are crap. If you're not going to put it on a dyno, don't bother. You're just as likely to lose power as to gain it.

like I said.. can't keep track. They used to be the same, then there was a split, then diablo and autologic and 1 other company sold, then there was some shakeup at SCT... it's a frenetic industry. Now SCT and Superchips are finally owned by different entities entirely and I'd imagine any continuing similarity in products is a matter of technological attrition.
