hey guys, htownv6 had a post about this and someone got banned and it got closed for w/e reason..anywho, did he ever find out why his rev's were stayin' high? i had the same problem tonight after i was idleing down my road in 1st gear, when i pulled into my drive way coasting w/the clutch in, it tached up to 2k...i tapped the gas to get it to go back down, stayed up untill i hit the brakes in my garage...anyone? help?

i honestly think my problem was the a/c ... it sucks but with the a/c off my car almost completley stops doing that

yea i was kinda thinkin' the same thing w/mine. that's the first time it's ever tached up to 2k on me tho, w/ or w/out the a/c. eh who kno's.

the other day mine was staying at 1k while ideling. It didnt want to drop back down for some reason. The ac was off and everything. Then I turned on the ac and it dropped back down to 750 lol. I parked the car and turned it off, then restarted and the problem was gone. May be something with the computer and/or chip I have.

yea usually if it idle's high i'll tap the gas pedal and it goes away, it's only stuck that one time...kind of annoying especially when ur tryin' to not wake everyone in the neighborhood up at 3am. lol
