X Pipe

X Pipe
Help im so confused on whats the best way to go about getting a dual exhaust done on my v6, X pipe, h pipe, or just straight pipes going out. I want something that sounds stronger and a little bit louder. What are your suggestions on how i should go about it. I went to a local exhasut shop and they quoted me 1000 for an x pipe, two magnaflow exhuast and two stainless steel tips. Thats way to expensive for me so im going to another shop later on since there closed this weekend. So please help...

i paid $375 for true dual, 2 flowmaster 2 chamber muffs, and like 3 1/2" stainless tips, but ya get what ya pay for also, BUT a grand is on the freakin' expensive side. i don't have any midpipe and it sounds good, not too loud, not too quiet, often confused with a GT below 3krpm's

Im debating if i want a H pipe or not mid pipe at all. The guy at the exhuast shop said that the reasoning for the Mid pipe becuase sometimes one side was weaker than the other and the stronger one went into both pipes or something like that. But when i got home i did some research and us V6's only one piston fires at a time where as a v8 two at a time. or something to that extent.

we are straight fire it goes 1,4,2,5,3,6
I recomend h pipe loudest sound.
and that exhaust shop that quoted 1000 is full of **** you can get a whole x pipe or h pipe system for under from 500-600 no problem and a good quality one
