Default Slowwwwwwww

Basically, the title says it all. I feel like my car is incredibly slow. I haven't done much in the sense of performance mods, but I do have a tuner for the small amount that I have done. I LOVE the way my car looks, and have just recently been able to start driving it again after getting it aligned and all from my spring install. I always find myself dying to drive my car, but I take it into town only to come back completely disappointed in how slow and heavy the car feels. I actually have 3.73's and a posi in the mail, which I know should help a little bit, but then there is always the issue of my exhaust sounding EXTREMELY weak once I get above 2 grand. I don't know what the point of this thread is really, other than just kind of a rant / wondering if my sixer really is completely helpless without spending a ton of money and sacrificing its DD abilities. That's all.

Nitrous doesnt last long enough. S/c is what you need
runs all the time

Sounds like you need a power adder. You can turbo it, supercharge it, or spray it with nitrous. YOu can spray it or supercharger it without alot of money (superchager you can get used). But utrboing it will cost cash unless you make your own kit.

Well, my car has 55K on it. I was always told anything over 50 the s/c is too risky. I have also seen people run nitrous on their cars and tear the **** out of them, which is something I dont want.

My car looks really nice, and is in great condition. Would I be better off selling it and trying to get something with a v8?

I don't think you will have many problems with S/C just b/c you have 55k. I had about 62k on my 2000 V6 when I installed my S/C. I didn't have any problems. I am up to 265hp at the wheels and it runs great. If you like how your car looks and if it is in good condition then keep it and get a poweradder.

whoever told you that was full of it, you could have only 20,000 miles and if the car was ragged on, the motor will blow. You can take the same car and take good care of it, put a supercharger on at 75,000 miles and have no problems.

It's all in how the car was taken care of.

Na, keep the 6 and turbo or S/C it. I think 6's with power adders are pretty sweet. You'll suprise A LOT of people on the road.

Miles dont matter as long as the motor is in good running shape. a supercharger or nitrous wont tear up a motor if installed, used, tune correctly. It sthe jackass who dont know what they are saying/doing that give power adders a bad rap.
