Default Nitrous on 6er/turbo?

what nitrous setups do ya'll have on your 6's? what brand? where did ya mount the bottle? and what shot did ya go w/? oh yea and total cost?

i want more boost out of the 6, i'm contemplating a turbo setup from tmaturbo.com, or a nitrous setup and a few suspension mods, i've got 3-4k to work with. thx for ya'lls input!!

One more thing, i've heard different things about the lbs of boost ya can run on a stock motor, i've heard 4.4psi w/a turbo, yet i saw somewhere with a supercharger they had it tuned safely with 10psi? is there a big difference i'm not seeing in the 2 systems that would allow this much of a difference in boost? thx!

as far as nitrous is concerned talk to Cuban..he's got a sprayed v6..and I think it 's a good idea to keep it under 100 shot for a stock block

Any wet kit will do you good. My freinds 00 v6 we added a 100shot to it with no other mods but a tune from justin at VMPtuning.com went 13.9's. For 3-4k your going ot be hard pressed to get a turbo setup unless its used and even soo you need other odds and ends for it like fuel upgrades, a tune etc...

so i could go more if i just replaced the fuel pump with an svt focus pump and 39# cobra injectors or 42# injectors? also when would be the point to replace the internals with forged internals? cause that's a lil more money then i want to put into it...on the flipside, if i drop 3-4k into the car, what's another 2k right? lol

Yeah you can make the v6 fast with nitrous for cheap and for most v6 guys i know you dont like tossing alot of money into them so nitrous really is the way to go if you want to do it cheaper then other power adders.

Go nitrous.

You have to think..turbo setup will run you...well..put it this way spending the money on that turbo setup.. you can sell the car, and buy a used GT.

Nitrous won't require as much money..

NX mainline kit, NX purge, zex bottle heater (not too happy with it), and a dyno tune. The bottle is in the trunk. I can post pics for you tomorrow if you'd like.

yea that'd be great if you could do that. also, did you install everything yourself or take it somewhere? i'm rather mechanically inclined but idk if this is something that i'd like to attempt...

If you can do simple wiring (find a ground, 12v power, switched 12v power) and drilling some holes and running lines you can install a nitrous kit.
