Want more HP for 2006 V6 Mustang.
I have had my 2006 Mustang for a minute. Its a V6 dont know why I didnt get the V8.. Im ready to start putting money into it. Im going for Duel exauhst,Headers, Cold airIntake, and throttle body. People tell me to go with the JBA exauhst and headers. Now if anybody knows any other brands better to go with let me know. Plus who makes the best intake(for HP).. After all this id like to know what else I could look into for More HP. Thanks

skip the bullshit mods and save for a blower. http://www.procharger.com/FORD/05V6mustang_UH.shtml

honestly these guys speak the truth...either 1) trade the V6 for the V8 or 2) throw lots of money into the 6, skip the useless mods(all that stuff you listed, i mean yes they give you minimal gains, but nothing worth the amount of money they cost) get a supercharger/turbo and be somewhere in the 350-400hp range. Not a bad place to be, but the minute you put that same mod on a V8 you will be in the 450+ range( )

Hate to break it to you bro, but if you were truely going for more hp/straight power, a v6 wasnt your way to go. I drive a 6, and love it, but it isnt a true power machine and wont be.
Im going to say this. Dont try to make it into something it isnt. Im doing alot of work to my car, exhaust, headers, CAI, suspension, wheels and tires, throttle body, but in the end, I wont add but 20 or 30 more hp and it will look ALOT better. With a 6, go for looks, not power.

I don't want you to think that we are hating on you buying a V6 or anything like that. As you can see i drive a 6, but don't expect great power, unless you are ready to sink some serious cash into it. the v6 mustang is a great car, and can be made to be a real fun car to drive. A few suspension mods, and those bolt ons you listed above, plus a set of gears and it will be a great car to have a little fun in from time to time. No it won't be the fastest thing out their, but it is a hell of a lot better then driving around in some honda civic or something like that. Plus it is a mustang, so it instantly gets cool car points

Any decent intake that requires a tune will produce good gains.
