flowmaster dual pipe?
I have a 2002 mustang v6 i want to put dual exhaust on it. i want to keep the headers and replace everything else. i was looking at the 2.25 u-fit dual pipe kit from flowmaster. Will this give my car a deep sounding roar also what else will i need after i get the pipe kit?

Well I believe that is for an H pipe so if thats the case you are going to have to change the midpipe. Your link didn't work so I'm not positive of what you are looking at. Then you also need a dual exhaust hanger kit where you can either get from your local dealership or you can get it from americanmuscle.com

I just it and it seems it replaces your midpipe also. To me that exhaust looks like a pain in the *** the pipes are not fitted so you have to cut and size (you might have to might not). Just doesn't seem like its worth it since you don't get mufflers and you will probably want some nicer looking tail pipes like stainless steal or something that looks a little cleaner. Your better off just buying an exhaust thats all in one and you will probably save money in the end and it will be a lot less of a pain.

I would check out: http://www.americanmuscle.com/99-04-...g-exhaust.html
it's a good deal since its free shipping. Then you can compare some of the ones you find on there at www.mustangexhaust.com so you can hear what they sound like. On my 2004 v6 I just have the MAC that connects to the Y pipe and splits to dual exit.

ill let ya know how it is. I'm in college and didn't bring my car with me so I haven't used it since I installed it but planning on testing it out when I get back home for spring break on Friday.

I have never heard.

I have heard once before that yeah you lose only a small amount of low-end torque because of the free flow, idk something about less backpressure, but it is dismissable for the gains you get from free flowing true dual exhaust.
