Default freakin slow

well just as i warned and suspected my 3.8 is slow as hell, any suggestions on a bit better pick up and also if anyone has any suggestions on some decent tuners and chips for good prices that they know of please let meh know. Ill get the pics of my car up this week so you can all see the POS i know own, it's ok though, it will be fast ONE DAY!!!!

Personally is it slow to what standards? What year do you have auto or manual. Your gonna wanna go with gears, tlok and tuner

lol its not that slow dude...at least you have a mustang

i say 4.10 gears and a tlock will make it quicker but not gain hp...if u want hp pretty much the only big noticable difference would be a supercharger, turbo, or nitrous setup...

what exactly is Tlock.

And it not like actually that slow, i mean it kicks like a mule more than any other car i ever had but that high end it a little on the down side. Ill defenitely look into what you guys are telling me.

Tlock is short for Traction Lock and it makes both wheels spin so you can get rid of the one tire fire and do proper burnouts.

lol yea vortech procharger powerdyne all have kits out.

And tmaturbos.com makes turbo kits.

bottom line . . you need a power adder.

teal knows what power adders are all about...

and btw i am not gettin blown anymore...parents shot that down real fast...i will probably do it when the warranty is done for

but i am gonna get a kick *** system...some thump from a JL W7 sub

hell yea Tclark. I just got done spending $1800 dollars on my system and still havent replaced any of my component speakers..2 12" Rockford fosgate p3's, Alpine head unit, Rockford fosgate power T1000bd tested at 1445watts @ 1ohm. Custom built box for the small trunk...and a 1.2Farad cap, and 4 guage wireing.

yea i am gonna get the JL W7, some speakers(havnt picked out which), and a head unit...i really want a touch screen but i think i might have to settle for less...because i dont have a thousand bucks for a touch screen

Default yes, systems are what i enjoy in life

I only have 2150 watts max power, but my friends say its loud
ive never been to a sound comp or anything, but i know mines not even close
2 memphis 12's on 1600 orion, 8 components on kicker 250 and 300

How big are you making it/them?
i made two 2.25 cuft for easier (nope) removal of the subs if they blow
thinkin about savin for a solo x, but than id have to use the backseat are too!
I could just cut a hole in the roof too. :P
