Default MT catted X and MT V-Force catback

How do you guys think this will sound in my car? I also already have hooker headers on the car. I heard a sound clip of this combo, but it was on a 94. I have already ordered the catted x and am still considering going with the v-force catback. I currently have the slp catback and I like it, but am just considering a change.

That is a full size catted X we sell (for shorty header manifolds or stock manifolds). You need shorty style midpipe if you have longtube headers.

That combo will sound very nice, basically a deeper flowmaster sound. There will be little rasp in that combination, but still some having an X instead of H. Those mufflers are basically identical to FM40s.

You may be able to actually use the full size X , as I'm not sure where the joints are... Or a shop will weld that to fit.

Thanks for the reply.

I was actually able to get a shorty style catted x through you guys. It wasn't advertised on the website, but I e-mailed and got a response that it was an option and ordered it. It just arrived via ups this evening and and it is the right size for LT headers.

I'm gonna try to get it install friday or monday and see how it sounds with the slp catback before I go with a new one.

Will do.

How much do you think the install will cost for the x pipe install? When I put the last one on, I did the install myself along with the headers, so I didn't pay to do it as I will now.

Make sure you post up some sound clips when you get it put on for us.
