Is there an AC delete kit available anywhere that someone knows about that works for 99-04 3.8L?

 

Yes, actually ford sells it, just go to a ford dealership and ask for an A/C delete pulley. You might have to hold there hand through it but it does exist, i have one on my car.

It is just a bracket with a big pulley were the AC use to go.

I might have to go get one. I hardly ever use my AC. I only turn it on for about 5 min. to take the heat wave off then i just have my windows down.

Dang teal living in florida with no a/c, that sucks. I guess thats a small price to pay for having the fastest sixer around

Lol no ihavent ran it, and unfortunaly Justin from VMP is just ~ an hour away, so im not even the fastest 6'r arround he runs 10's

But no i didnt slel mine, it went dead, and ihad to make a decicion between a 600$ A/C job, or a 45$ pully and sweating.

 

i choose more HP and less weight.

 

Yea that's why I asked. I know all about Justin and I don't remember you posting up times either here or at v6power. So the fastest V6 comment is kinda sorta not correct lol. Your car has the most power V6 here but you can't really call it the fastest since it's never been to the track. Right now it's like 90% of 03-04 cobra owners, a dyno queen. And please don't take that the wrong way I mean it more as a shot at the cobra owners I know yours just got done getting tuned and buttoned up.

 

AHH i understand now, no i dont have a timeslip under my belt with this setup atm, however i know what your saying, i hate people that wont take there cars to the track.


p.s. i never said i was the fastest in the first place i said i wasnt, expecually because of justin in my area. (i wont be faster either )

there are a lot of people a LOT faster then I. Matt for insance (9's anyone?)
