So, there is this really annoying clicking noise coming from where my right header is located anytime i give the car gas in any gear (worst around 2000 rpm). My buddy who also drives a V6 99-04 said he had the same problem and its a cracked header and that we can weld it closed. Before i do this is it really a cracked header? if so should i buy a new right side header or just weld it closed until i can afford somthing a little better?

 

could just be an exhaust leak that needs tightening
