Default Stud, nuts, mid pipe to header

Alright bad thing happend the other day I possibly rounded off a nut while trying to remove the my midpipe. I need to know the size of that nut and where to get some new ones just in case. I went to Advanced Auto and they didn't know.

My other question is how the h*** am I gonna get that nut off now? Ideas please...

you could try home depot or lowes. or try a tractor supply store they may have some hardware that would work. just force it off keep wrenching at it.

BluePoint makes a set of extractor sockets, which basically you jam them on any bolt and it locks onto them (the design makes them dig into the head of the bolt when you turn. hard to explain in words, but trust me, they have saved me numerous times). I know you can get them through snapon, but there are probably other companies that make such a product.

another option is to cut the shaft of the bolts. I have done it this way before as well. naturally, all I had at the time was a little handheld hacksaw, so powered is definately preferable, unless you want to spend all day trying to saw through them. If yours is like mine, nothing threads together except the bolt and nut, so if you cut the shafts, both ends should just pull out of the brackets.

Hope these options help.

I went to home depot and got the irwin bolt grip thing. It has the mm sockets that grip the bolt.. it was like 20bucks. Just put that on a extension and beat the socket onto the bolt with a hammer and then lossen it slowly. Should come right off .. oh and i got my new bolt from the ford dealer for like 2 bucks
