brake light goes on when i accelerate from 0mph...
hello every1,
for the past 2 weeks the brake light goes on whenever i accelerate from a stopped position. It goes on for about 2 seconds and goes off. I also noticed it when i go over a speed bump.
I never use my hand brake, is this something i should worry about or is some sort of sensor going bad?

sounds like the controleld open is being shorted out under heavy movement. sounds like a wiring problem. i'd check all the connections and look for any exposed wiring.

@Jack The Ripper, any idea where to start? Anything I can quickly pop the hood open and take a look? Or is this something in which I'll need to take out my center console to look for a short?!?!
