Default Kumho Ecsta MX tires

i am going to be ordering a set of kumhos for the stang come this spring. I want 245/40/18 front and 275/35/18 rear. One question though....out of all the tires i had on my car the stats looked like this (for example: 255/40/ZR18 , my point is that all of the tires i have had included the ZR before the size of the rim, whereas these kumhos have a YR. Does anybody know the difference?? thanks

YR is 186+, ZR is 168+ if I remember correctly which I almost always do.

It doesn't matter unless you plan on exceeding 170mph. Do you plan on exceeding 168mph?

sizes look great. You should have a nice looking wheel and tire package. FWIW, during the winter months if it's wet and cold enough I'll buy Kumho 711's. They're H rated so you can't go too fast but they're just fine for the slow time of year and they're hella cheap. treadlife was pretty good for me and I'm death for tires.

Normally I use Nitto 555 (one of the best tires I've tried for the mustang) 255/40/17 front and 275/40/17 in back. Cost is pretty low and the dry performance is impressive.
