Default Mustang Tire/Wheel Question

I've got a 2000 V6 and I want to put 17x9 Bullitt wheels and 265 tires front and back. Will they fit up front without rubbing? Is a 265 big enough for a 9" wide wheel?

You could go up to 275. If it doesn't rub on the V8's then it shouldn't rub on a V6.

265's are fine but 275/40/17's would be better.

But the suspension is different and maybe other things on a V6 and V8 so you can't compare apples and oranges. I need to know if 17x9's w/ 275/40/17's will fit a V6

v6 and v8 suspention are the same besides the 7.5 to 8.8 rear end difference between the two.

I've got a 02 V6 and 275/40/17's. Also have the Eibach Pro kit .. lowering it ~1.25" or so... no issues what so ever. You should be fine.
