Ill be needing new tires here soon. I dont want anything hugely expensive and want something that will last a good while, but also has good grip and has a cool tread pattern

Ill be needing 275/40-17 sized tires.

Any suggestions?

Not a bad tire, I've heard they are noisy though. I think there are better, and cheaper options. I'd look at the BFG G-force sport tire, Continental Extreme Contact DW (?), or Brigestone Potenzas 70R or something, they are similar to the ones on the Nissan GTR, Even the Firestone wide oval is supposed to be a good tire. The Khuma XS is a trusted tire in that price range but doesn't have the treadwear rating of the others.

 

I heard the same about how the tire linked above is a little noisy. I run Hankooks ventus v12's on my mazda. For the price and from tireracks track review and user reviews I couldnt pass up the deal. Low price high grip but they do get greasy quick and dont perform as well but every thing else has surpassed my expectactions.
