I went with 18 x 11s OEM 2000 Cobra Rs that were widen.

Those are awesome. You can find some good deals on slightly used Toyo R888 off viper race cars too.

Im going to see if I do a test fit this weekend. Don't have tires for the fronts yet. I may go with 265 40 18s. I also need to sell my current wheels.

I use it a few times a week to take my 4 year old to school so I cant have anything that is terrible in the rain if that makes sense.

You can run Nitto drags in the rain just fine. But like every tire once they are really worn they get bad in the rain. I daily drove on Nitto drags in the rain and all kinds of weather for 2 and 1/2 years. When they are new they are actually very good in the rain. Its just once they are worn down that they get really bad which should be expected of any tire.
