Default Newbie - need tire size advice

First post in the forums. I have a 2000 Mustang, V6, with stock wheels. I want to put on the widest tires possible that are not low-profile tires for front and back and that won't rub when I turn. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

275's are max up front and will have a slight rub at full lock. You can buy steering stops so it stops before it does rub. For the back you can run 315's no problem and 335 with the right offset on the wheels. Of course you have to run a 17" wheel as the min to run either of those tire sizes. If you don't want to run low profile tires I'm guessing you want to stick with what 15" or 16" wheels or the stock v6 ones?
