Default spacer vs. irs bolt

Last time i promise!! Still torn between the IRS bolt swap and using spacers. With 1" drop up front and 1.4" drop in the rear....with a 10mm Eibach wheel spacer, that will suffice swapping the bolt right? Stock head height is .5" and the rounded head is .35". The 10mm spacer will outdo that gap BUT i'm just nervous about the wheel spacers.

So just torque them down, drive it a bit, then check the tightness again? How often do you need to check them? IF i go with the irs bolt swap, will the suspension move any once i remove the bolt? Do i need to have a jack under the suspension? Never had the irs, sorry im asking a beat up question.

Tire info: 10.5" wide rim w/Nitto 555R
Suspension: Eibach 1" lower front and 1.4" lowered rear

Just dont wanna FFFF anything up.

my buddy ran his car low with coil overs and he had the low profile bolts and didnt have any issues...he has ran this car on countless auto-x slaloms and track events with no rubbing or cut tires. his tire combo was S style rims 18X10 with goodyear GS-D3's which are a little bit bigger than the nittos. i never liked the idea of spacers because they make the rims stick out too much...There is another guy who has a 2003 cobra with 10.5" rims and that spacer. when i seen his car in stuttgart his tires were sticking out of the fender it just didnt look right.

I'd just do the bolts. Your tires shouldn't come in contact with them if you use the low profile ones. You could also do a 1/4" (6mm) spacer (like in addition to the bolt) and fix the problem completely but that usually requires taht you roll the fender lips.

i would say roll your fenders! that should solve a lot of problems, then if/when the spacers are installed, you'll be able to see if your going to cut into your tires or not, but it shouldn't be a problem.

does someone have before and after pics of a fender roll they had done? I dont think i wanna mess with the body like that though. If i am going to be good with just the bolt then i'll do just that.

any information about the suspension bolt......will there be some 'snap back' once i pull that bolt out? Can you roll the inner fenders yourself?

hey go to this website: http://www.maximummotorsports.com/

click on install instructions(left column), go down to cobra irs and click subframe bolts. It has pictures and a guide to swapping the bolts. Its super easy. I haven't done it myself yet, but it's only two bolts, it can't be too difficult. And my vote goes to swapping bolts before spacers.
